Field Trips

Field trips are an integral part of the orchestra experience! SCROLL DOWN for additional information about field trips offered for orchestra students.

6th Grade participates in the Carowinds Music Festival on Friday, May 21st, 2027. Students will wear their current Laing Orchestra t-shirt, school appropriate shorts, and comfortable shoes (tennis shoes recommended).

7th and 8th Grade travel to and perform in Orlando, Florida, April 8th - 11th, 2027.

CPA Clinic - Chaperone Sign-up

Trip Itinerary:

9:45am - Load buses

10:00am - Depart Laing

10:15am - Arrival at Wando

10:30am - 11:30 - 7th Grade Clinic w/Silvestri and Wando Orchestra students on stage, 8th grade rehearsal in the orchestra room with Selby

11:30am - 12:00pm - Lunch provided by Wando Orchestra (pizza, cookies, water/sodas)

12:00pm - 1:00pm - 8th Grade Clinic w/Silvestri and Wando Orchestra students on stage, 7th grade rehearsal in the orchestra room with Selby

1:15pm - Depart for Laing

1:30pm - Arrive back at Laing
